About the role

We are looking for a highly personable, dynamic, self starting Digital Designer. The role comprises of the following primary functions:

  • Creation and fulfilment of customer creative orders using the Fluid Ads platform.
  • Assistant with the creation of system templates for the platform for customer usage.
  • Assistance in the production of marketing collateral.
  • Creative support for the Fluid Ads team

Working under the direction of the lead UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for finding creative solutions within the Fluid Ads platform to meet and exceed customer expectations. With the ability to work independently you will be able to tackle multiple pieces of creative work at once and prioritise your time.

The primary objective of the Digital Designer is to interpret and develop creative advert solutions for a range of clients utilising the Fluid Ads platform.

Fluid Ads and Localstars is an open team based environment. It is essential that you are able to effectively liaise with work colleagues across the businesses to assist where possible with a broad range of design based duties.

Main duties include

  • Taking and interpreting creative briefs from a customer and creating adverts based on those.
  • Assistance with the production of system templates for the Fluid Ads platform.
  • Iterating creative based on customer feedback.
  • Creative handover of digital adverts to the wider team.
  • Liaising with external agencies to produce advert creative.
  • Creating a wide range of creative marketing materials to support the marketing team.
  • Providing ancillary creative support for the wider team.

Skills and competencies required

The candidate suitable for this role will be collaborative, creative, energetic and tenacious in producing creative results in line with client briefs.

Essential

  • Experience of the full Adobe creative suite (Indesign,Illustrator,Photoshop)
  • Strong communication skills with all levels written or verbal
  • Customer Service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter with outstanding organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and remain organised while meeting deadlines and targets
  • Ability to work closely to customer brand standards
  • Adhere to the Fluid Ads branding when producing marketing material.

Desirable

  • Experience with website creation tools (Sketch)
  • Previous creative experience.
  • Experience speaking with customers directly
